Did you know that Camp Terrapin at The Legacy School was given Honorable Mention for Summer Camps in the Carroll Magazine 2025 Readers’ Choice Awards? The Legacy School was also named Top Private School in the Carroll Magazine 2025 Readers’ Choice Awards! Located in Sykesville, Maryland, Camp Terrapin at The Legacy School provides a mix of academics, Individualized Literacy Education Programing, One-on-One Tutoring, Math Learning, and play to maintain and reinforce skills developed during the school year while also providing a fun, summer experience for students…ages 6-13…new and returning…with dyslexia and other language-based learning differences. In addition to our amazing staff members, we even had several former students return as Camp Terrapin counselors!
