  • Ben Hands: ‘24 graduate of Liberty High School–Currently studying for his Digital Marketing Professional Certificate at Carroll Community College. Ben loves sports videography and editing and has created highlight reels for local lacrosse players. Ben manages The Legacy School Alumni Facebook page.   • Cole Teitelbaum: ‘24 graduate of Jemicy School—Currently studying music at Sheffield Institute for the Recording Arts. Cole works as a “scare” actor at a local haunted house, is a professional musician who regularly plays concerts, and works in the music/drama department at Jemicy School.   • Will Pickrel: Senior at Calvert Hall College-Will attend Dickinson College in the fall to study International Business and has committed to play football. Will started his own videography company and wants to continue his passion for photography in the future. Learn more about Will on our YouTube.
  • Samara Singer-Blanken: Senior at Jemicy School–Will double major in political science and international relations with a focus on pre-law at Pace University. Samara wants to be a civil rights lawyer or an elected official, and has worked as a babysitter. Learn more about Samara on our YouTube.
  • Jared Snyder: Senior at Jemicy School–Plans to major in Biochemistry at Stevenson University. Jared’s ultimate career goal is to work for the FBI as a forensic scientist. He has worked as a camp counselor. Learn more about Jared on our YouTube.

Students submitted questions to Ms. Lisa to be answered by the Alumni Panel including “How was your first year in high school?”:

  • Ben: I started high school virtually. Started asking for help.
  • Cole: I regret not taking advantage of the help teachers were offering.
  • Will: Friendship groups will change.
  • Samara: Find where you fit in in high school. Find a good friend. It’s easy to find friends…hard to keep them. 
  • Jared: Keep track of your assignments. Don’t procrastinate.
